Start

Two questions that put everything in order: what kind of wedding you want and which atmosphere feels like you.

Wedding styles

No two weddings are the same, but almost all of them start with two decisions: what kind of celebration you want and what atmosphere you have in mind. Here are the options Pilar works with, to help you find yours. You can stick with one or mix several.

Type of wedding

The atmosphere

Long tables under a marquee with hanging greenery, set up in the garden in daylight

Countryside

Nature, wood and loose flowers

Long tables under the trees, wildflowers, wood, linen and warm light as evening falls. The landscape does half the work: the décor complements it rather than competing with it.

Key elements

  • wildflowers and greenery
  • long shared tables
  • string lights
  • ceramic and wooden tableware

Where it works

At the farmhouses in our collection, with gardens and woodland: Can Riera de la Pineda, Mas Cufí and Masia Urbisol.

Classic and elegant

White linen and candles

White linen, fine glassware, white floral centrepieces and plenty of candlelight. A timeless style that works just as well in a hall as outdoors.

Key elements

  • white, green and gold
  • round or imperial tables
  • candles at different heights
  • carefully designed stationery

Where it works

In halls and formal gardens, such as the halls with views at Masia Urbisol.

Boho

Textures, rugs and pampas grass

Rugs, cushions, macramé, pampas grass and dried flowers, in earthy tones. A relaxed atmosphere, for a wedding where no one is in a hurry and the party starts with the drinks.

Key elements

  • earthy and natural tones
  • dried flowers and pampas grass
  • lounge areas with rugs
  • a ceremony in the round

Where it works

Outdoors, in a garden or a woodland clearing, such as by the stream at Can Riera de la Pineda.

Mediterranean

Lemons, olive trees and white light

Blue, white and olive green, lemons and citrus on the table, ceramics and bright midday light. A fresh style that calls for terraces, courtyards and dinners outdoors.

Key elements

  • white and blue
  • olive and citrus
  • painted ceramics
  • outdoor dinners

Where it works

On terraces and in gardens, and at seaside venues in the Maresme or the Garraf (see Barcelona).

Minimalist

Fewer elements, more intention

A few pieces, carefully chosen: a short palette, a single type of flower, clean lines and open space. It's the style where design shows the most, because nothing is superfluous.

Key elements

  • a palette of two or three colours
  • one star flower
  • straight-lined furniture
  • controlled lighting

Where it works

In venues with an architecture of their own, where the place is part of the décor.

How would it look at your venue?

A style in an inspiration photo isn't the same as at your venue, with your light and your tables. That's why Pilar shows you your wedding in a 3D render before you approve it: the style you choose, set up where you're getting married.
